The Sony DSCT2W is a stylish camera in white and the DSCT2 you can also get in four other colours - blue, black, green and pink. - because of it's cutting-edge styling the em>DSCT2 stands out from the crowd.

A digital image is made up of millions of pixels (mega pixels). The more mega pixels that a camera has, the clearer the photos will be. The DSCT2W has an 8.1 effective megapixel sensor producing a brilliant picture.

It is possible to save about 1,250 top-quality images on the large 4GB of internal flash memory. At VGA resolution there is room for over 40,000 images - a lifetime of memories. The photos can be indexed and sorted into albums, making it fast and easy to choose the right picture at the right time.

Sony's Double Anti-blur benefit combines Super SteadyShot optical image stabilisation with a sensitvity up to ISO 3200. This lowers the chances of wasting pictures while shooting in poor lighting conditions. Sony Clear RAW NR processing reduces luminance and noise for more natural images at high sensitivity settings.

The DSCT2W lens is the high quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens giving a powerful 3 x optical zoom - great for bringing distant objects closer. This lets the camera automatically react to a smile - the first time for digital photography. Amazingly, this auto shutter system is able to identify when someone is smiling and will take the shot right away without you touching the shutter - amazing!!!!. This brings more fun to informal portraits, family shots and any people. If there are many people in the frame, the shutter only fires when the principle subject - selected using the touchscreen - smiles. A sequence of up to six smiling shots can be taken without needing to press the shutter. So you always have pictures of people looking happy in each shot!

Images can be viewed crystal clear on the clear 2.7-inch large touchscreen LCD screen. For an even larger picture, it is simple to connect the DSCT2W to any suitable television or HD Ready device for breathtaking slideshows with musical accompaniment. Alternatively you can watch your images on your DSCT2 in Scrapbook which produces an attractive group of images on the touchscreen LCD, together by a choice of themed backgrounds.
